A message from study programme counsellor Ann Aertssen

Dear students,

These are exceptional times and this must feel just as strange for you as it does to us: working remotely, no contact with your fellow students/colleagues, doing everything online, self-study, discipline…

I just wanted to let you know again that we are here for you. We are all working, albeit not in our familiar M building.

I had several longer phone calls with students today, who had made an ordinary appointment. While it was not entirely the same, it was better than nothing.

If you wish to talk to someone from your faculty about how best to approach this, if you have problems or just want to discuss how you are working and how much progress you’ve made, then don’t hesitate to contact me for an appointment, like you always do.

The system for making an appointment with me is still the same: send me an e-mail with the dates and times that work for you and I’ll check what’s possible in my calendar. The only difference is that you also need to send me a phone number now, where I can reach you.

The STIP is also open for business as usual. You can find the contact details of all the student counsellors on Blackboard under Support.

Finally, I want to wish all of you the best of success, as always, during this second semester. Kind regards

Ann Aertssen
